It must have been around 2004, 2005 when I was only fishing with one hookbait, which were Frank Warwick's Dynamite Baits Hi Viz pop-ups. We used every variety. From Blackcurrant & Scopex to Green Zing, Squid & Octopus or Milk & Ice cream, we had them all.
It was a huge loss to us when we saw them being taken off the shelves and we never had the same confidence again after fishing with other brands.
For us the Evaporated Milk & Ice Cream really stood out, it was loved by the carp in the waters we were fishing at the time, so after years of a love hate relationship with pop ups turning into wafters overnight a friend of mine came up with the name, Forgotten Flavours. I managed to get my hands on a decent amount of Geoff Kemp's Evaporated Milk & Icecream flavour, so here we are!
You will remember the smell like it was yesterday... trust me :-)
