Product description
The compact AV8000 reel from Avid Carp is a baby Big Pit reel that is equally at home when fishing long distances as well as stalking on smaller waters. The tapered deep spool ensures casts so that the line experiences virtually no friction and more capacity for thicker, heavier lines. The AV8000 is equipped with a 'Rapid Front Drag' system which can be adjusted from freewheel to drilling in less than one full turn. Seven stainless steel bearings and one roller bearing not only give the reel a silky smooth feel and performance, but also contribute to its life expectancy and durability. A CNC aluminum crank with 'Soft Touch' with sufficient strength, a large diameter bracket, stainless steel shaft, strong body and rotor and line clip are more than enough features to take on the biggest challenges without any problems.
