These Dark Matters leaders are equipped with our Heli-Safe System and helicopter style can be used in combination with both regular rigs and chod rigs. The leader is equipped with pieces of tungsten that help it sink properly to the bottom. The Chod Safe System has also been installed to ensure that the bottom line can easily come loose in the event of a line break. A Quick Change Ring Swivel makes it possible to quickly change the rig. The DM Heli-Safe Leader comes in both 1m and 50cm lengths. This gives you plenty of room to adjust the position of the top bead when fishing on soft mud bottoms or weeds. This will ensure good bait presentation. The short version of the leader will come in handy on (paying) waters that have included a restriction on the maximum leader length in their regulations or when maximum casting distances are required. The end of the leader has a loop to which the main line can be tied. For easy changes it is recommended to use a loop in loop connection. The Dark Mat-ter leader material is very abrasion resistant, has a tensile strength of 40lb and can be matched with any type of bottom. It is available in a Clear, Weed and Gravel color and each pack contains a single leader.
