Korda Flatliner Pear Inline Lead

For optimal use of this lead, the bottom must be hard. This short, specially shaped lead with its flat sides, has excellent puncture properties. Where other leads still have some play, fish with this lead immediately get the full weight for their teeth.

The flat sides make this lead ideal for sloping sides and flowing rivers. Use this lead at short to medium distances. In terms of shape, this lead looks very much like a stone. During filming of parts 1, 3 and 4 of our Underwater series, it was seen that this lead has excellent camouflage properties. However, a popular misconception is that flat leads will stay on a soft bottom. Nothing could be further from the truth. This lead also sinks into a soft bottom, so a pear-shaped swivel lead would be a much better alternative.

In part 3 of the Underwater series the potential of the Flatliner Pear Inline is demonstrated. Compared to a normal swivel lead, the carp is hooked better with this lead. Danny says: "I was so busy testing the Lead Clips that I completely lost sight of the potential of this lead". This will not happen again.
